Rich in cowboy traditions and horsemanship, the RS Ranch is a 500 acre working family ranch located in the Missouri Ozarks.  Surrounded by rivers, trails, and other nature, there is a wealth of cowboy activities to choose from once you are here.  Located just 1 hour from St. Louis's Lambert International Airport, you drive southwest thru beautiful country with rolling hills where interesting stops might include wineries, cave tours, or one of many antique shops.

Once you are at the RS Ranch, we help you design what you'd like to do on your cowboy getaway with us.  We can plan trail riding, roping lessons, horse-drawn hayride, sleigh rides in the winter, or just watch some of the day to day horse work.  From shoeing, to harnessing a draft team to maybe training a young colt.  You might want to fish, hike, bird watch, kayak or canoe on a local river, just go swimming and float on  your back for a day, do some photography or sit and relax in a rocking chair on the big front porch.

With select ranch getaways or vacations, as the sun starts to set in the western sky,  the horses are turned out to night pastures, friends and neighbors gather around the chuck wagon and cowboy campfire for the evening.  The smells of cowboy cooking fills the air as you listen to local Bluegrass musicians playing old west songs.
