HITCHING UP THE
TEAM
Here is our team of
seven-year-old Percheron mares, Reba and Rachael, getting ready
for a days work on the ranch. |
HORSE BARN AND
CORRALS
A pic of the main horse barn
and corrals built in the late 1900's. All lumber for this barn
was cut and milled in our local area. This pic was taken the
morning after a January snow storm, notice some of the Percheron
& Quarter horses finishing up their morning hay by the corral
fence. |

DASHING THRU THE
SNOW
My wife and a group of her
friends enjoying a brisk sleigh ride over the snow covered
fields. |
LONGHORN COW
Our ranch is also home to a
few photographic Longhorn cows. In their younger days they
served as roping calves for my son. As they grew older, he
released them into the mother cow herd. Lucy (the Longhorn cow
pictured here) will have another calf running along side her
this spring. |

DRAFT HORSE
HARNESS
Draft horse harness and
collars hung behind the work horses in their tie-stalls. This
barn was built like the old style horse barns of the 1800's. |
COWBOY TACK
Hat, chinks, spurs, lead rope,
halter, curry comb are just a few of the many items hanging on
the outside of our tack room wall.
